NEW Owl and Wee Critter Friends Baby Mobile

Here is a sneak peek at what I have been working on between orders for the last few weeks.  I have had so many requests to turn my Rainbow Owl Family door hanger in to a cot baby mobile and here it is.

I did not want a plain back or to repeat the owls face on both sides, so decided each would have a little pal.   I have also included a music button in the felt tree which plays Brahms lullaby as a little extra.  I hope you all like!!

Felt and Fabric Owl Baby Mobile

Felt tree with music button.

Each owl has a wee critter, a ladybird, bumblebee, butterfly and snail all slighty stuffed in felt

I will listing this at my Etsy shop soon....   Thanks for looking....

Wrapped and ready to send..

Well today was Valentines day and sad to say I did not even realise till lunch time I was so busy.  Obviously no bunch of flowers arrived to remind me earlier!!  "Commercialised rubbish" says him in doors... but for those of you who do recognise it... Happy Valentines day.

Tomorrow is post day so here is a selection of what will be enclosed.... don't panic if yours is not here, I am still working on a number of orders and will have another trip to the post office later in the week.

This owl family is flying off to Switzerland.
Freya will be heading down to the South Island
Mia and Arran share a room, so this is for their door in Edinburgh
Wyatts family is off to the USA
and I finally figured out how to hang 'Blinky' so he is off to his new home with Finn in Barbados.

Done and dusted.... gulp!!

Today was my last day in my 'other life' job.  It was quite strange to think that I would never be returning... quite sad in a strange way.  I made some great friendships and I will so miss the comradeship of workmates and all the gossip.  Everyone I worked with supported my decision to leave and that made it so much easier.   It feels a little against the grain to be leaving such a secure position to try and make it in the 'working from home' craft world.  Yet I feel quite excited at the prospect and have so many ideas and creations that I finally have time to work on.  The main reason for all this was to be able to spend more time with my beautiful daughter Maisie and that is what makes me really happy.

Gosh, wow I did it!!
